The passage
A lot of Mediterranean in one trip.
The owner wanted to begin the season by covering a large stretch of the western Mediterranean in a limited window—and to join the passage himself. The brief needed a small, experienced crew who could keep the yacht moving while still making the trip enjoyable.
Red Sky brought in a trusted crew member with superyacht and professional cooking experience. May delivered a mixed bag of early-season weather, but also some fantastic sailing wind as the route ran through Maó, Alghero and several Corsican stops before the final crossing to Antibes.

Passage notes
The brief
Give a busy owner a proper first trip of the season and cover meaningful distance without turning the passage into a rushed transfer. A skipper and one trusted professional crew member kept the operation simple and direct.
The route
Premià de Mar to Maó, then across to Alghero before working north through Bonifacio, Ajaccio and Cargèse. When the Mistral kicked in, the yacht stayed in Cargèse for two nights before continuing towards Antibes.
The arrival
After dolphins, whales and a substantial run through the western Mediterranean, the yacht reached Antibes in the morning. She was secured, the marina arrangements were handled and the owner could step ashore with the trip complete.
